Hello my name is Yuka Hatano; I made this website Opal Galaxy with the vision to provide some of the best Opals and Opal Jewellery in the world to my valued customers!
I have been dealing with jewellery since 2005 in Japan where I used to work in retail selling jewellery. I found opals just amazing and they quickly became my favourite gemstone. I was so interested in opals that I moved to Australia in 2011 to learn more about them and start working with them as my passion in life! I had great mentors in Australia; some famous Opal miners and dealers and quickly became well known for my quality Opal photo and video work.
Opal Galaxy is only a relatively new business – just 1 year old! I am growing my collection day by day. I have been working with Opals however since 2005 in Japan, and since 2011 in Australia full time just dealing with Opals. I know a lot about Opals and can give my best advice from 13 years of dealing with them! I cut and polish the majority of my items that you can find on my website!
