The formation of Opal

Did you know that Opals such as this Gem Rainbow Boulder Opal are a stunning type of gemstone formed by a chemical reaction between silicon dioxide and water? As water moves through the earth, it picks up silica from sandstone and carries it into cracks and voids, which form naturally or through decomposing fossils. Once the water evaporated, it left behind a silica deposit. Over time, these deposits have transformed into the stunning and lustrous rocks we call Australian Opals.
It's fascinating to note that Opal discoveries are from a vast inland lake that once covered the Australian desert.

The opal is just like the pictures (in the right light, of course -- that's just the nature of opal), and the description was accurate. I think the price was fair, the stone was wrapped securely and presented well, and it got here from Australia with no problem. This seems like a good shop to me!

I purchased it from Japan. Since the owner was also Japan people, we were able to communicate with him in the Japanese, and he answered questions before purchasing, so I was able to wait for the arrival with peace of mind. In addition, it arrived earlier than originally planned and was carefully packed. Opal is also satisfied with the very beautiful quality almost exactly as pictured! Thank you again if you have any transactions.
